Hair Treatment FAQ
Does a hair transplant last forever?
It is true that the results of a hair transplant are permanent. However, as you age, the untreated hair surrounding the transplant sites may begin to fall out. Your transplanted hair may thin with age, but you can always undergo another procedure later in life to restore your appearance.
Is hair transplant painful?
The procedure of hair transplantation is virtually painless due to the use of minimally invasive transplantation techniques by expert surgeons. It is possible to feel soreness or pain following surgery in the donor and recipient areas, but this is only temporary. If you begin to feel any pain, your doctor will prescribe pain medication for you to take.
Can FUE hair transplant fail?
FUE hair transplants may fail in rare cases. Among the most common causes of post-operative infection are poor postoperative care, inexperienced surgeons, and poor postoperative care. You should choose your hair clinic carefully and strictly adhere to your doctor’s instructions regarding preoperative and postoperative care to ensure surgery effectiveness. Strenuous activities and smoking should be avoided at all costs.

How long after a hair transplant can I exercise?
During the first two weeks following the procedure, refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise. To ensure, once again, that the transplant is not dislodged or accidentally injured. Exercise that is more strenuous increases the likelihood of this occurring. After your surgery, you may begin light exercises, such as yoga or walking.
When can I go back to work after keeping the bandages?
You can remove the dressing within two days of your procedure. The dressing consists of a small piece of gauze. If there is any pain or mild swelling of the forehead, it is recommended to rest for two days. After the first wash of the transplanted area (10 days), the patient may resume work/normal routine.
